Jeph, Jay, and Caine are an ultimate trio, first picking up a disc seriously just over 5 years ago. In that time, the brothers have developed their skills and their love of the sport. After attending their first Wind Chill game in 2021, they decided to go all out for it. They love to get the crowd involved and bring more attention to the team and the sport. You can catch them on the fence, cheering and holding signs.

Wind Chill Talk was designed to spread awareness of the sport, as well as to share thoughts, opinions, and interviews with fans. If you have questions, suggestions or want to learn more, feel free to contact us!

Jeph Novak

Jeph is a marketing and communications specialist for a local construction firm. Playing ultimate mostly in college, he has always been sports-driven, though more talented with a pen in his hand (or a keyboard at his fingertips).

Caine Novak

Caine plays pickup ultimate regularly around the Twin Cities. He plays on the ultimate team at UWRF, and consumes as much ultimate as possible. His insights on the game often come from a firsthand perspective.

Jay Novak

Jay attends college at the U of M Morris and brings an analytical touch to the Wind Chill Talk team. His ability to round out discussions with data, patterns and in-depth insights is a valuable addition to many conversations.
